You are invited to submit an abstract for oral or poster presentation.

Oral presentations, in standard article format, reserved for scientific reports.

Posters, in shorter format, which are more appropriate for other scientific contributions, research issues, case studies, presentations of personal experiences, positions or thoughts and institutional presentations.

All abstracts submitted must represent original, previously unpublished work. All information requested on the submission form must be provided and submitted with your abstract before your abstract will be considered.

Each abstract will be associated with one of the following topics:
- Mastitis disorders
- Reproductive disorders
- Surgery, anaesthesia and pain management in cattle
- Infectious diseases, vaccines and emerging diseases
- Metabolic diseases
- Parasitology

Submitters will be notified via email by June 1st, 2011 at the latest whether their abstract(s) were accepted.

Abstracts will be printed exactly as submitted.

No more than 2 abstracts may be submitted per each author. (Author may appear as co-author on additional papers; it will NOT count toward the 2 abstracts submitted per person limit.)

Please note that you must register to attend the conference before 30 June 2011 to be included in the programme and for your abstract to be included in the Proceedings.

Poster Instructions

Abstracts accepted for posters will be printed as submitted in the Proceedings.

But you are free to choose your poster's design for the version to be displayed.

- the maximum size for poster is: 3.90 feet high x 2.75 feet wide (118.9 cm high x 84.1 cm wide)

- posters in English only should succinctly display the Objective, Materials & Methods, Results & Conclusion.

- lettering should be large enough to be viewed from 4 feet away.

- please use regular poster paper.

- please bring tapes for holding poster materials on the poster board.

- display period: Nov. 16 (09:00) to Nov. 18 (16:00). Please note that if you do not remove your poster in time, it will be discarded.

- you are required to be present at your poster to answer questions as much as possible.
